SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST (Finance)



KENT® Corporation has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Chain Analyst! This role will analyze business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision makers supporting the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) processes.

The individual will identify trends and patterns in datasets while providing recommendations to align with business objectives, KPIs, and strategic/tactical plans. They would be responsible for creating reports based on business needs and identify gaps in business data or processes. This individual will collaborate with a wide range of cross functional teams across all business units to drive continuous improvement. They will support the development of the IBP and ITP processes while creating and monitoring supporting KPIs and metrics.

  • This role is designed and intended to be performed in Muscatine, Iowa.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage existing and new reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI to support the progress of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP)
  • Analyze and document business requirements provide recommendations based on data findings
  • Manage extraction of data from data warehouse, use POS data, forecasting tools, and other data sources for analysis
  • Collect, document, and monitor external factors to assist in scenario planning analysis
  • Manage analytics and metrics development pipeline/status updates
  • Address reporting issues from report users and IBP/ITP teams
  • Provide analytical support to the IBP/ITP teams as well as other areas

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Data Analytics/Data Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, report building, and data analytics
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is required
  • Experience with Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or creating dashboards via Excel
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and relational data bases
  • IBP or S&OP experience is preferred but not required
  • Requires knowledge of business intelligence and analytical tools to develop in the most visually efficient way possible with the ability to learn as you go
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills – experience working with business partners and leaders
  • Proven project management capabilities, able to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize a variety of incoming requests
  • Must be motivated with strong analytical skills and curiosity
