TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Manager- Project III, National Operations located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsible for managing all aspects of modernization projects, including purchasing, scheduling, and delivery of materials to ensure timely, productive, and cost-efficient project completion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Receives job package for modernization projects after contract receipt and prepares job files.
  • Maintains job files and computer databases, recording all job-related activity, correspondence, and required actions.
  • Reviews job specifications, building drawings, and sales abstracts for completeness; issues purchase orders and coordinates change orders.
  • Identifies and documents discrepancies between approvals and factory drawings.
  • For projects over $250,000, ensures compliance between specifications and manufactured products; creates variation reports for discrepancies.
  • Reviews specifications and pricing prior to bidding on large projects; identifies errors or omissions.
  • Coordinates with general contractors on schedules, delays, and approvals; attends on-site meetings and schedules jobs for adjusting and testing.
  • Obtains city permits and approvals; prioritizes and reviews job progress.
  • Acts as liaison with National Coordination; ensures weekly coordination and construction meetings are held.
  • Maintains construction schedule board and prepares superintendent communications.
  • Communicates with customers, sales reps, and construction managers to coordinate approvals, fabrication, and delivery.
  • Reviews weekly contract status reports and updates material and equipment release in internal systems.
