Customer Value Analyst (Finance)



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Monitor potential material shortages impacting on-time customer deliveries; lead and coordinate cross-departmental efforts to find and implement technical solutions to ensure committed ship dates.
  • Lead and organize cross-functional teams to propose and implement product changes via new vendors and parts, achieving annual cost out targets and product improvements.
  • Function as Supply Chain lead on NPI projects, identifying and working with new and existing suppliers to ensure successful product launches.
  • Verify all purchased parts are set up for NPI projects, including vendors, pricing, lead-times, and stocking and inventory plans.
  • Support other departments, including Quality and Operations, collaborating with vendors to modify or find alternative parts, to improve product reliability, manufacturability, and overall customer value.
  • Monitor excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory levels, actively managing E&O to reduce current quantities and prevent future accumulation, including identifying alternate applications for existing parts.
  • Create, record, report and manage Technical Supply Chain metrics.
NATURE AND SCOPE

The Customer Value Analyst will report to the Technical Manager, Supply Chain. As part of the Order Fulfillment group, the Customer Value Analyst will have daily interaction with Supply Chain, Customer Service Production Control, Engineering and Quality. The Customer Value Analyst will support all Technical Supply Chain activities within these groups in order to improve overall product value for our customers.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Extensive mechanical and technical knowledge of BAC products and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexibility in managing a wide range of tasks, and attention to detail.
  • Technical capability to analyze product design details, drawings, and bill of material structures.
  • Demonstrates strength in problem solving and follow-up.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and other departments at all levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Engineering or Supply Chain) or equivalent background experience.
  • PC skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with high level skill of Excell.
  • Experience with SAP ERP in an industrial manufacturing setting.
Qualifications

Required

  • BS. Supply Chain or Engineering preferred
  • 3 years experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
BAC Hiring Compensation Range $64,700-$111,000
