Master Scheduler (Administrative)



Summary

Member of post-sale operations team performing data analysis and data management to schedule order fulfillment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze and consolidate customer BOMs to for purchase of appropriate materials.
  • Collaborate with and manage resources from other functional areas (sales, project management, supply chain) and branches (IND, SFS, TUL, IND, etc.) on material scheduling.
  • Perform inventory analysis to assist Project Management and Supply Chain in ensuring material stock is optimized for demand, including TUL, IND, SFS, etc.
  • Master multiple data management and planning tools (Steel II, Coupa, Conga, TMS/Navisphere, SIMPL) and the unique details, workarounds, and modifications required to support SOL's specific business requirements. 
  • Perform as inventory management expert. Streamline inventory management and controls efficiencies. Reduce inventory carrying costs and processing time.
  • Identify and implement software solutions to receive, track, adjust, and deliver material.
  • Manage Coupa indirect purchasing program including vendor onboarding, PO generation, invoice approval, and payment performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
  • 5+ years' experience in project and information management.
  • Expertise in business process and managing multiple projects and objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel.

  • Experience using and improving utilization of ERP and other data management systems.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Positive and professional interaction with customers and coworkers in written, telephone, and in-person settings.
  • Reliable and responsive communication.

Compensation 

  • Starting pay targeting between $75,000 - $110,000
  • Health Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision for Full Time employees
