Position Summary:

As a Mortgage Loan Originator at FNBC, you will be responsible for originating mortgage loans by developing strong customer relationships, promoting FNBC's mortgage products and services, and guiding customers through the entire home loan process. You will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring a smooth experience from application to closing, while meeting established goals for loan volume and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain mortgage customers, driving portfolio growth.
  • Promote and sell FNBC mortgage loan products, cross-selling related services where appropriate.
  • Guide customers through the mortgage process, providing exceptional service from inquiry to closing.
  • Receive, review, and process mortgage loan applications for 1–4 family real estate.
  • Perform lending functions including interviews, verifications, loan decisions, and closings.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external investors, and management to ensure smooth loan processing.
  • Provide product and service information to customers and offer financial guidance.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate referral networks and generate positive word-of-mouth through strong customer service.

Qualifications:

Education & Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
