Texas Work-Study| Student Assistant, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) (Finance)

Department: Library Salary: $12.00 per hour
Description:

The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Student Assistant performs daily tasks throughout the ILL department, processes Interlibrary Loan requests using the Tipasa software system, and tracks unclaimed loans and shipped items. The student may also assist with additional projects for the ILL or Circulation department. Interlibrary Loan is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently under minimal supervision

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled at UHD for the semester, applying for six (6) college credit hours or more
• Must be eligible to receive Texas Work-Study from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid
