Test Engineer (Engineering)

Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team and work with the Benefits and Memorials Independent Verification and Validation (BAM IV&V) team for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). In this position, the engineer would work with the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) team in writing, maintaining, and executing testing within VBMS Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) testing.

Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate with internal and external teams to execute sprint testing scheduleTest Case Development for manual test cases/regression testing based on functional requirementsDocument and report identified issues/defects in tracking tools (JIRA)Assist in creating test plans, analysis, and reporting documentationDevelop products in adherence to 508 regulations and standardsAnalyze areas for process improvement and identify technical solutionsAttend all internal and external meetings as required
