Erie Apprentice (Finance)
The ERIE Apprentice works under close supervision and is a temporary Employee responsible for learning and developing practical job skills through supervised training and participation in classes and other development activities. The purpose of this role is to the gain skills, knowledge, and experience necessary for positions at ERIE.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in training activities that are required by the business to gain an understanding of the assigned business area and the skills necessary to perform the assigned work.
Follows workplace practices and procedures established by the business area related to tasks, assignments, or when performing job duties of an assigned role.
Business areas or roles assigned may rotate or change throughout the apprenticeship.
The first two duties listed are the functions identified as essential to the job. Essential functions are those job duties that must be performed in order for the job to be accomplished.

Qualifications
The minimum education and experience requirements are as follows:
High School diploma, or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age or older
Participation in the ERIE Apprentice Program does not guarantee permanent placement. Based on demonstrated ability, Apprentices will progress through the program at different paces.
