Pricing Analyst II (Finance)

The Pricing Analyst will create technical solutions for Energy Sustainability and Solutions (ESS) which drive Commercial excellence, Pricing innovation, and reporting. The ideal candidate is an experienced, detail oriented and self-motivated individual responsible for leveraging pricing data across various systems and dashboards to drive and support key pricing analysis including 80-20 segmentation pricing, price variables analysis, and revenue and margin insights. You will use your understanding of Business practices to communicate with other commercial and business functions across ESS. You will work with Pricing, Business, and IT to generate automated solutions to complex problems in the areas of large dataset management supporting pricing analytics, balancing price/volume/mix to improve profitability and tracking of price in support of organic revenue growth. You will use your innate curiosity to dig into problems, constantly asking the question "how can I make this better?"

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Pricing Leadership with weekly analysis of pricing performance and deal stage evolution.
  • Collaborate with various functions to deliver timely, high-quality business data and analytics that drive accountability and achieve financial commitments.
  • Understand data modeling, mining, pattern analysis, and data visualization to meet commercial needs.
  • Partner with offering management to analyze end markets and competition, determining pricing strategies for products and markets.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to make pricing adjustments based on commodity inflation and deflation.
  • Review order trends and history to identify patterns and make recommendations.
  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new pricing opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of pricing initiatives, identifying any gaps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance pricing initiatives and support business objectives.
  • Engage in ad-hoc analytics and projects as per business requirements.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $68,700 - $85,900. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $68,700 - $85,900. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.   • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pricing or related field

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance Math, Engineering, Marketing or Management preferred
  • Experience performing financial data analysis using Microsoft Excel, R, or Python and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience using statistics to estimate potential impacts of actions
  • in multi-functional team
  • Experience with pricing software analysis suites such as PROS Control or Vendavo
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Familiar with ERP systems such as SAP and Business Object.Experience in Honeywell UOP or similar industries like process technology, catalysts, adsorbents, equipment for the Oil and Gas processing.
