Position: Quarry Truck Driver
Reports to: Quarry Manager
Shift: All shifts.
Pay: $29.69/hr + Shift Differential this is a collective bargaining position.

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, heavy mobile equipment operations in the quarry to transport materials as designated.
What you'll be contributing:
- Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
- Operates haul trucks to transport limestone from the primary crusher to the secondary crusher stockpile
- Operates haul trucks to transport limestone from rock piles to sugar rock loading system
- Operates haul trucks to transport clay and shale from their respective deposits to designated stockpiles
- Operates haul trucks to transport miscellaneous materials as directed
- Operates the water truck to aid in dust control on quarry roads
- Hauls water to water storage tanks in the quarry
- Inspects equipment on a daily basis - as required.
- Observes all safety rules and keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly - continuous.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- High school graduation or equivalent is required
- Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs and similar information.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisor.
- Ability to safely and effectively operate haul trucks, water trucks, pick-up trucks and related quarry mobile equipment.
- Work requires sitting for extended periods of time in trucks, and walking over rough, slippery and uneven surfaces.
What to expect in a cement environment:
Exposure to heat, dust, dirt, falling rock, excessive noise, and all weather conditions. Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
