Job Description
The Manager of Technical Solution Consultants (TSCs) is responsible for leading a high-performing regional team that drives the successful implementation and sustained adoption of Intuitive's digital solutions. This role is accountable for reinforcing clear performance expectations, enabling team execution, removing barriers to success, and fostering collaboration across internal stakeholders and hospital IT ecosystems.

They are accountable for building a team that communicates with clarity, prepares with rigor, aligns cross-functionally, validates technical readiness, and takes extreme ownership through solution adoption. The ideal candidate is both a coach and operator - equipped to lead with a continuous growth mindset and results-oriented accountability.

Essential Job Duties

Attract the Best

Coach and Develop High-Performing Talent: Hire and build a high-talent density team of Technical Solution Consultants. Provide structured feedback, development plans, and ongoing coaching to ensure each team member grows in communication, stakeholder engagement, project execution, and technical depth.

Build Strength in Others

Drive Execution Against Performance Expectations: Set and enforce a high standard of execution for TSCs, including ensuring TSCs communicate with clarity, prepare with rigor, align cross-functionally, validate technical readiness, equip partners for success, develop lasting partnerships with hospital IT, and take extreme ownership through solution adoption.

Advance Digital Activation Excellence: Drive the team toward seamless digital activations by proactively identifying and eliminating challenges stemming from incomplete customer readiness. Establish a culture of rigor and accountability where technical validation is thorough, handoffs are clean, and services teams are set up for first-time success.

Ensure Strategic Customer Engagement: Build trusting relationships with key hospital technical stakeholders to enable direct Voice of Customer engagements with product management and guide product alignment with real-world operational requirements and accelerate trust in new solutions. Relay field learnings and customer feedback to Product and Engineering partners to influence roadmap direction, remove systemic barriers, and accelerate value realization across accounts.

Lead by Example

Lead Technical Oversight and Escalations: Support TSCs in navigating complex hospital IT environments, reviewing technical architecture, and managing escalations. Serve as an escalation point for high-priority implementations requiring cross-functional coordination.

Foster Cross-Functional Alignment: Pursue deeper alignment with Capital VP leadership to embed digital pillars into capital sales process and drive parallel processing. Ensure TSCs are aligning successfully with their capital director partners quarterly to review past performance and future opportunities. Develop shared accountability for capital and digital partners for digital activation.

Deliver Results

Track and Report on Regional Progress: Provide regional performance insights to leadership, including milestone progress, resource allocation, risk exposure, and customer readiness. Elevate feedback from the field to inform product and process improvements.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in medical technology implementation, IT consulting, or digital transformation within healthcare
  • 5+ years of experience leading a high-performing team of technical consultants
  • Deep understanding of cloud-hosted SaaS platforms, healthcare data security, and networking infrastructure
  • Experience with account management or direct collaboration with capital sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of stakeholders - operational, clinical, and technical
  • Demonstrated success working within a remotely distributed team and cross functional groups and resources across multiple geographies and time zones.

Required Education and Training
  • Bachelor's Degree

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target base compensation ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $184.000 USD - $276.000 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $165.600 USD - $248.400 USD
Shift: Day
Workplace Type: Remote - This job will be remote and/or the job is designed to be performed outside of the office. Employees will come onsite when requested by the leader. Apply
