This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

As a Sr Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist, you will be accountable for leveraging your technical expertise to provide solutions for complex global demand. You will guide the ideation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies, ensuring alignment with Advance Material's strategic objectives.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on shaping the technological landscape and driving innovation within the organization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and testing of innovative solutions
- Mentor and guide a team of R&D engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence
- Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and methodologies
- Conduct research to generate thoughtful property (IP) and contribute to patent applications
- Evaluate emerging technologies for their applicability to current and future projects
- Conduct technology assessments to inform strategic decision-making
- Facilitate the transfer of technology from R&D to manufacturing or production teams
- Identify and assess technical and project-related risks
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
