Sr Compliance Monitoring Analyst (Project Management)



Job Summary

As the Senior Compliance Monitoring Analyst, you play a critical role in the enhancement and continued development of Medline's Compliance Monitoring & Analytics program. This includes leveraging analytical approaches and technology to improve the program's effectiveness and efficiency, planning and leading activities across the global organization to enable business decisions and results, managing risk, and promoting a culture of ethics and integrity.

Job Description

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work under the direction of the Sr. Manager, Compliance Monitoring and Analytics to plan, lead, and execute monitoring engagements.
  • Conduct regular monitoring engagements of various processes/locations, both U.S. and international, to identify potential compliance issues and develop corrective action plans.
  • Document corrective action plans following conclusion of scheduled monitoring engagements and track them to completion with their associated assignees.
  • Prepare and present formal summaries/reports to leadership following the completion of monitoring assessments.
  • Leverage data analytics data analytics to identify trends, ensure compliance, and drive data-informed decision-making throughout monitoring efforts.
  • Complete risk assessments using financial and other data to support generation of the annual compliance monitoring plan, proposing assessments of key entities, processes, or critical systems.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to develop and maintain dashboards that support continuous monitoring initiatives, with respect to interactions with healthcare providers, transparency reporting programs, and other related activities.
  • Deliver summaries of monitoring findings to relevant stakeholders regarding key risk indicators (KRIs) and compliance policy violations identified through ongoing established data analytics.
  • Develop, test, and maintain various compliance monitoring technologies used by Compliance Monitoring and Analytics team to ensure tools/workflows are appropriately configured to detect and remediate potential compliance issues.
  • Support the overall federal/state/global transparency reporting (e.g., Sunshine Act) deliverables throughout the year, providing opportunities for process enhancement and driving any relevant enhancement efforts.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Medline compliance program policies, procedures, and systems. Understanding AdvaMed and other relevant global industry codes such as MedTech EU.
  • Partner across the organization to share actionable data and analytics insights to enable effective compliance program governance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field.

Certification / Licensure

  • None required.

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years experience specializing in healthcare compliance and/or healthcare auditing, monitoring, and analytics.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Broad knowledge and experience in FCPA and/or the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of the global medical device legal/compliance landscape.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting large complex datasets in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of controls and solutions.
  • Strong ability to communicate or present to business partners at varying levels of the organization to drive alignment and collaboration.
  • Experience in working through details of a problem, identifying root cause, and overcoming obstacles to reach a positive and successful solution through mathematical or systematic analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau.
  • Experience with large enterprise financial systems such as SAP/Concur, and their associated datasets.
  • Proficiency in using pivot tables, VLookup, fuzzy lookup, and similar functions within Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Certification / Licensure

  • CPA, CIA, or CFE highly preferred, or progress toward attaining certification.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Direct experience within a corporate compliance department (i.e., Office of Ethics & Compliance) and compliance monitoring function.
  • Experience in global/international compliance monitoring role executing large-scale compliance assessments, and establishing effective data dashboards in order to achieve continuous monitoring of key risks.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$85,280.00 - $123,760.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
