Administrative Assistant - Denver, CO - HYBRID - Cigna Healthcare (Finance)



LOCATION: Position located in Denver, Colorado and supports the Mountain States markets of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Candidate must reside within 50 miles of the office location.

Candidate must be able to work in the office 3 days per week. Tuesday and Wednesday are mandatory in-office days.

Office location : 2000 S. Colorado Blvd, Tower 3. Denver, CO 80222.

This position serves as the executive administrative assistant for the Mountain States market and reports to the Vice President, Network Management. The role supports the Network Management contracting team and performs administrative duties including, but not limited to, those outlined below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manage calendar, email, and other communications for the team as needed.
  • Manage travel plans as needed.
  • Act as on-site coordinator for the Denver office.
  • Act as back up for the contracting team and triage calls or emails as appropriate.
  • Process invoices for payment.
  • Monitor and train new and existing employees on workflows and system requirements.
  • Assist team members with ordering equipment, ensuring appropriate access to all internal systems.
  • Assists team members with monitoring and updating system information as needed to ensure contracts are appropriately handled.
  • Participate in staff meetings.
  • Monitor, maintain and initiate action on tracking reports, to ensure compliance with internal processes.
  • Monitor and distribute emails from group email location on a daily basis.
  • Retrieve mail and packages as delivered onsite.
  • Open and distribute mail to appropriate team members.
  • Contribute feedback and ideas to improve team performance and processes as appropriate.
  • Keep team members informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for all job-related functions.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge regarding inventories and processes.
  • Assist new staff in system setup, orientation and training functions.
  • Create reporting and presentations as needed.
  • Order kitchen supplies and maintain an orderly kitchen and breakroom.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

  • High School diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years administrative skills, preferably in aManaged Careor Health Insurance organization
  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel, and Power Point preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with others.
  • Display a positive team attitude and willingness to assist others when necessary.
  • Possess ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and interact professionally with internal staff, customers and vendors.
  • Clear, concise and courteous telephone manners, portraying a professional image.
  • Detail-oriented.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 25 - 38 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
