Job Description
Primary Function of Position

The Sr Finance Manager for Real Estate & Workplace Services is responsible for managing and overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting for facilities operations and capital expenditures. This role plays a crucial part in optimizing financial performance and ensuring strategic alignment with the organization's goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the budget for facilities and capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide monthly reports on expenditures.
  • Examine financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement in cost management.
  • Partner with facilities management to plan and execute capital projects.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis related to facilities and CapEx investments.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on financial matters related to facilities and capital investments.
  • Links the work of employees to our mission and leads in ways consistent with Intuitive culture and our Leadership Expectations.
  • Builds credibility with the Finance function and business partners.
  • Engage direct reports in meaningful career conversations
  • Attracts, hires, and onboards top talent.
  • Comprehends the organization's products and services with baseline industry knowledge.
  • Delivers complex projects and solves complex problems with the team through partnership with business/other finance functions.
  • Effectively reviews the work product of team members to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
  • Seeks out various perspectives prior to making recommendations, demonstrates active-listening, and is open to input from stake-holders.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in financial management with at least 3 years of experience managing CapEx. (Required)
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional statistical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Occasional travel may be required for site visits and meetings.
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week

Required Education and Training
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent is preferred.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience in facilities management or construction finance.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and financial modeling software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization tools.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $177,900 USD - $266,900 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $151,200 USD - $226,800 USD
