Dental Provider Data Representative - Cigna Healthcare - Remote (Finance)



This production role is an entry-level position in the Dental National Contracting Unit supporting MD, MN, PA, VA, WV, and other markets as needed, that delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services supporting the existing dental network, contracting teams, and the dental outreach program. Receives requests to add new locations or providers to existing contract arrangements. Coordinates provider enrollment and assists with the coordination of meetings with providers or their office staff for training, contracting, and reporting. May be responsible for reporting and tracking provider calls and complaints. Issues tend to be routine. Good knowledge and understanding of Provider Data and business/operating processes and procedures. Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, opening, assessing, and data entry of incoming mail, email, and fax
  • Outreach to providers or office staff to obtain missing or additional information to ensure applications and contracts meet compliance
  • Pull together new applications and contracting packets as needed, ensuring compliance
  • Collaborate with internal departments as needed to fulfill incoming mail requests
  • Clerical work that includes creating new records or maintaining proper data in a contact management system
  • Maintain positive relationships with health care professionals and their office staff, extending quality service
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
