This facility manufactures cryogenic equipment to support the company's industrial gas and liquified natural gas (LNG) business. In addition to pressure vessels, distillation columns, piping skids and cold boxes it is also the world's leading manufacturer of (LNG) heat exchangers. Each heat exchanger consists of coil wound tube bundles housed within an aluminum or stainless-steel pressure shell, all of which are assembled and welded by skilled employees at the plant. This facility employs nearly 300 production technicians.
THE POSITION
As a Principal Quality Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be a key influencer in our unwavering commitment to achieving quality excellence. In this principal role as an SME and Technical leader, you will provide mentorship to team of quality engineers, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products to our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of critical tasks, including technical guidance, strategic support to Engineering and Projects and enhance quality standards.
With a strong foundation of technical fundamentals and comprehensive understanding of ASME, API, AWS, CSA, European directives w.r.t welding and NDE, your guidance will lead to the consistent enhancement of product quality, instilling trust in our customers and setting new industry benchmarks. You will report directly to our Sr Quality Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
