Technical Specialist - Electrical (Finance)

DESCRIPTION
The Electrical Engineer works under the direct supervision of Project Engineers and Project Managers in performing, developing, and reviewing electrical engineering aspects of infrastructure improvement projects. You will leverage your engineering knowledge and skills in the preparation of engineering plans, one line diagrams, schematics, power distribution calculations, lighting design, technical specifications, and construction estimates and schedules. You will be supported by a successful management team and team of designers to advance your technical and management skills.   • Assist in the design of basic electrical systems, facilities, components and products.
  • Collaborate with engineering personnel in the creation of electrical system design for facilities and roadway applications.
  • Perform analysis, calculations, design, evaluation for specific areas of technical expertise which includes power, lighting, and additional special systems to support project objectives.
  • Develop high quality technical documents including specifications, engineering design files, and reports.
  • Attend project meetings and provide support on design concepts.
  • Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
  • On some days, you will make field visits to project sites to investigate and assess existing site conditions.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 0-3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Excellent English language skills, written and verbal.
  • Able to build relationships with a wide variety of people. You will need the ability to multitask, prioritize competing project obligations, and to interface with multiple technical disciplines.
  • You will need to be able to quickly get up to speed on our policy, procedures and relevant software while acquiring an understanding of the company's service offerings, and the client's standards and procedures relevant to your projects.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $69,000 to $90,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
