Sales Executive, Urban Fleet (R&D)



Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive business growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing partnerships with fleet companies for our mobile automotive services. This role requires the ability to build relationships with fleet managers, operations directors, and procurement teams to deliver comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repair solutions directly at their locations. This position requires regular travel within assigned territory up to 80% of the time.
Essential Functions:
Business Development & Prospecting
Identify and research potential fleet company prospects across various industries including delivery services, logistics companies, ride-share operators, corporate fleets, and municipal organizationsDevelop and execute strategic outbound sales campaigns through cold calling, email outreach, networking events, and industry conferencesBuild and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools and sales methodologies
Relationship Building & Account Management
Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers including fleet managers, operations directors, and procurement teamsConduct compelling presentations and demonstrations of mobile automotive service capabilitiesNegotiate service agreements, pricing structures, and contract terms that benefit both partiesServe as primary point of contact for assigned fleet accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
Market Analysis & Strategy
Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities within the fleet services sectorGather customer feedback and market intelligence to inform service offerings and pricing strategiesCollaborate with operations team to ensure service capabilities align with fleet customer needs and expectations
Sales Performance & Reporting
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIsMaintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systemProvide regular sales forecasts and progress reports to managementParticipate in sales meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive services, fleet management, or related industriesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive environmentExperience selling to fleet operators, logistics companies, or commercial vehicle operators preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong prospecting and lead generation abilities with experience in outbound sales techniquesExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate value propositions clearlyRelationship-building skills with ability to establish trust and credibility with senior-level prospectsNegotiation skills with experience structuring service agreements and contractsSelf-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales prospecting tools
Industry Knowledge
Understanding of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance needs, and cost management challengesKnowledge of automotive repair and maintenance servicesFamiliarity with fleet management software and telematics solutions is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldPrevious experience in mobile services or on-site service delivery modelsExisting network of contacts within the fleet management industryExperience with consultative selling approaches and solution-based sales methodologies
