Johnsonville, LLC Food Safety Quality Coordinator- Compliance Position Overview: Join Johnsonville's Food Safety Quality (FSQ) team as a Food Safety Quality Coordinator-Compliance. You will oversee and ensure compliance with all food safety and quality regulations, standards, and programs, specifically focusing on Redzone, SAP, Corporate SOPs, internal auditing, training, and SQF. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality systems to ensure the highest level of product safety and quality.   • Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety regulations and standards (e.g., SQF, USDA, HACCP).
  • Implement regular audits and inspections of processes. (e.g. SQF, Redzone, SAP, HACCP, Internal Process Audits)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety and quality standards are implemented and met throughout the supply chain.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to food safety and quality.
  • Prepare and present reports on food safety and quality performance to senior management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the SQF program to ensure compliance with SQF standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify compliance with SQF, Redzone, HACCP, SAP and other food safety programs.
  • Train and educate staff on SQF standards, food safety, and quality procedures.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance on SAP QM module, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance for the Redzone compliance module, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Maintain and manage division and enterprise level Redzone checks.
  • Maintain and educate/train membership on corporate SOPs.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Meat Science, Microbiology or related field
  • 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role required
  • Experience in food required; meat/poultry processing and harvest preferred
  • HACCP Certification Required
  • SQF Practitioner Certification Preferred

Experience:
  • Knowledge and understanding of food safety, HACCP systems, USDA/FDA, Animal Handling and Welfare programs and regulatory requirements and have established regulatory relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite required
  • Proficiency in Redzone required
  • Understanding of Safe Quality Food program required
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.)
  • Experience working in SAP desired
  • Proficient with data management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Project management and team leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills
