Human Resources Project Manager (Finance)



Job Summary:

Equifax Workforce Solutions (WS) is looking for a Human Resources Program Manager. This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the strategic execution of high-impact, cross-functional HR initiatives directly supporting the Senior Vice President, Human Resources. This individual will manage complex programs that span multiple functions through the BU ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable results. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional program management skills, a deep understanding of HR best practices, and the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.

This position is located in the WS headquarters in Clayton, MO and is a hybrid role (in office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and remote on Monday and Friday); this is not a remote position. What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage highly complex, strategic HR programs that drive business initiatives and enterprise objectives. This includes overall program budgeting, comprehensive planning, efficient execution, operational oversight, and detailed program reporting.
  • Drive the strategy and execution of HR programs that have BU-wide impact, spanning across all Centers of Excellence and Lines of Business at Workforce Solutions
  • Partner closely with the HR Business Partners and Global HR COE to build and develop relationships for increased alignment and efficiency.
  • Develop and refine OKRs and monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting for the department, as needed, to track progress and identify/resolve obstacles. Duties include but not limited to quarterly business reviews, KPI reporting/metric management and helping optimize ongoing operations with our matrix and COE partners.
  • Establish and maintain transparent communication channels, consistently monitoring and communicating program measures of success, plans, status, issues, and risks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Define program controls and governance, including processes, procedures, reporting mechanisms, and policies, to ensure the overall integrity and success of the program.
  • Direct and coordinate resources, stakeholders, and deliverables across multiple interdependent projects within the assigned programs, ensuring seamless integration and efficient progress.
  • Guarantee that all program deliverables are directly aligned with the program's desired outcomes and effectively support the overarching business initiatives and HR strategies.
  • Proactively identify industry best practices, emerging HR trends, and innovative solutions, recommending program updates or changes as needed to ensure continuous improvement and optimal program success.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for the leadership team, providing concise summaries of program status, key insights, and recommendations.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the HR team on program-related matters, offering insights and recommendations to optimize program effectiveness and achieve desired outcomes.

What experience you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or other relevant program management certification highly desirable.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in HR program management, with a proven track record of successfully leading complex, cross-functional initiatives, preferably within a large, matrixed organization
  • 2+ years experience establishing OKRs and iterating
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels, including with executive leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
