Systems Engineer (Finance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to manage and support our server infrastructure, Active Directory environment, and Office 365 services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure, ensuring high availability of critical services, and providing technical support for enterprise users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Server Infrastructure Management
  • Administer, monitor, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, upgrades, and backups.
  • Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Implement and maintain server security best practices.
  • Active Directory (AD) Administration
  • Manage AD objects including users, groups, OUs, and GPOs.
  • Maintain DNS, DHCP, and certificate services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AD replication, authentication, and login issues.
  • Support identity and access management (IAM) initiatives.

Office 365 Administration
  • Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Configure and monitor M365 security and compliance features (MFA, DLP, Conditional Access).
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding and license management.
  • Assist with migrations and integrations within the M365 ecosystem.

General IT Support
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated infrastructure and directory-related issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts.
  • Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff on projects and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on Windows Servers, AD, and Office 365.

Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in a hybrid/cloud environment.
  • Experience with backup/DR solutions and monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MS-102, AZ-900, AZ-104).
  • Experience with Azure Active Directory and hybrid identity.
  • Knowledge of Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager.

Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Working Conditions:
  • This is a full-time, on-site position.
  • Standard business hours apply, with occasional after-hours work for maintenance or urgent issues.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation may be required.
  • Must be able to lift and move IT equipment when necessary.

Salary Range

$74,598 - $96,977.50 USD
