Sales Representative (EWP) (Sales)

We're looking for a dynamic sales reporesentative for our Engineered Wood sales in our Kansas City and St. Louis markets. Strong industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive outside sales and promote engineered wood products (EWP) in both the Kansas City and St. Louis markets.
- Provide technical training to customers and internal sales teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop leads and grow market share.
- Work with the drafting team to create estimates and blueprint take-offs from customer plans.
- Train sales teams, dealers, and customers on converting solid-wood specifications to EWP.
- Assist with drafting placement plans for dealers.
- Partner with lumber dealers, contractors, engineers, and architects to deliver complete framing packages.
- Manage EWP inventory and coordinate transportation as needed.
- Maintain the division SKU master for assigned product lines.
- Commit to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in an office environment with minimal physical exertion.
- Valid Driver's License
- Broad knowledge of Building Materials, including Engineered Wood.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Broad knowledge of business administration, marketing, or procurement management is a plus.
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in a related role.
- Professional certification is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
