Sales Representative (EWP) (Sales)

We're looking for a dynamic sales reporesentative for our Engineered Wood sales in our Kansas City and St. Louis markets.  Strong industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive outside sales and promote engineered wood products (EWP) in both the Kansas City and St. Louis markets.
  • Provide technical training to customers and internal sales teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop leads and grow market share.
  • Work with the drafting team to create estimates and blueprint take-offs from customer plans.
  • Train sales teams, dealers, and customers on converting solid-wood specifications to EWP.
  • Assist with drafting placement plans for dealers.
  • Partner with lumber dealers, contractors, engineers, and architects to deliver complete framing packages.
  • Manage EWP inventory and coordinate transportation as needed.
  • Maintain the division SKU master for assigned product lines.
  • Commit to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in an office environment with minimal physical exertion.
  • Valid Driver's License 
  • Broad knowledge of Building Materials, including Engineered Wood.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of business administration, marketing, or procurement management is a plus.
  • Seven (7) or more years of experience in a related role.
  • Professional certification is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
