Director of Managed Care Contracting Job Summary:
The Director of Managed Care Contracting is responsible for leading strategic initiatives related to payer contracting, network development, and reimbursement optimization across the LTACH portfolio. This role requires expertise in managed care operations, contract negotiations, and relationship management with payers and provider networks. The Director will collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational goals, drive financial performance, and expand access to care through strategic partnerships.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field required.
Licenses/Certification: None required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in managed care. Experience working with LTACHs, post-acute care, or complex care delivery systems preferred. Ability to analyze financial and utilization data to inform strategy. Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful payer agreements. Understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, including value-based care.
