Subservicing Oversight Specialist - Default (Project Management)

What You'll Do:

  • Complete First Line of Defense reviews in all default servicing areas including Customer Service, Investor Accounting, Continuity of Contact – Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Claims.

  • Provide Daily Support and Oversight for default matters related to Subservicer. Daily review of reporting, systems, and documentation to ensure Subservicer compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Assists team with default items related to our in-house serviced portfolio. Including but not limited to: Audit reviews, mail, generating letters, responses to internal partners and updates on system of record.

  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures. Assist the department manager as needed.

  • Answer and address all loss mitigation correspondence related to Subservicer's portfolio in a timely and professional manner. Work directly with portfolio manager to resolve any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing industry, investor, and regulatory guidelines.

  • 3-5 years prior work experience in Loss Mitigation & default related areas, required.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Able to work in a team environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems and proficient in Excel.

  • Knowledge of mortgage servicing systems, servicing technology and practices. FIS IBS experience is a plus.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
