Full Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Responsibilities to include providing care in the following settings: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient, and Home Health Care.

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will assist in providing quality Occupational Therapy patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with facilities and clients, under the direction of licensed OT personnel.
Responsibilities of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Assists in screenings and initial evaluations of all residents.
- Implements and executes treatment of all residents who could benefit from intervention as prescribed by a state approved referral source.
- Appropriately delivers treatment to achieve identified objectives.
- Appropriately documents progress against identified objectives using SOAP format.
- Communicates patient's status and needs to the licensed Occupational Therapist, and as appropriate, to the patient, the patient's family the staff and other professionals.
- Attends facility patient care plan, administrative staff and family conference meetings as directed by the Licensed Occupational Therapist.
Qualifications of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Valid COTA License in the State of Ohio
