THE POSITION

As a Lead Cyber Security Architect/Engineer here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of cyber security projects. You will provide technical guidance to the project team while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure a smooth integration of new initiatives. You will participate in the response and management of cybersecurity incidents. You will report directly to our Sr. Director of Cyber Security and you'll work remotely or out of our Morris Plains, NJ or Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. As a Lead Cyber Security Architect/Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of cyber security projects, providing technical guidance to the project team, and ensuring the seamless integration of security measures to protect critical assets and information across industries.YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or another related field
• 6+ years of experience in a lead cyber security role
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Excellent communication and ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders
• Ability to lead direct and indirect reports by influence
• 5+ years of experience in Incident Commanding / Response.
• 5+ years in any of the following:
  
  • Network and Host Forensics Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Log Analysis
  • Malware Analysis

WE VALUE

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing cybersecurity teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $157,000 - $196,000. For Washington, New Jersey, and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $181,000 - $225,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to support project team members
• Oversee the execution of cybersecurity initiatives and projects
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses
• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address security requirements
• Perform analysis, identification, remediation, and documentation of network intrusions and computer system compromises.
• Handle incident escalations as necessary. Project manage incident response and coordinate remediation with owners.
• Perform malware analysis and forensic analysis of network activity, disks, and memory.
• Contribute to the creation of security awareness materials for the organization
