As a Cost Accountant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our construction operations through accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and meaningful collaboration. What You'll Do

As a key member of our finance team, you will:

Project & Cost Accounting

  • Maintain and analyze job cost records for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Prepare and review monthly job cost reports and variance analyses.

Month-End Close & Reporting
  • Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with operations, procurement, and finance teams to improve processes.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience (construction or manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Viewpoint, JD Edwards).
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and a proactive problem-solver.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
