Encompass is set to open in August 2025, welcoming 105 students in grades K3 to embark on this innovative journey.
About the job:
We are seeking a passionate Instruction and Community Specialist (ICS) to join our founding team. In this role, you will support the general operations of the school and students during both instructional and non-instructional times. This individual will help support students engaging in enrichment or intervention activities and act as the second adult in the classroom, overseeing personalized learning time. In addition to supporting learning, our ICSs will support school-wide initiatives and operations to maintain a strong community that exudes belonging, safety and joy.

Our team:

Internalize support plans for intervention and enrichment.

Scaffold learning by breaking down complex skills into manageable components for students.

Actively participate in cycles of continuous improvement through coaching and collaboration.

Participate in data meetings, support team meetings, and child find process.

Implement IEPs, 504s, and ILPs within the general education setting.

Implement RTI framework for academics and behavior.

Implement strategies aligned with Restorative Practices and Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

Support and execute initiatives and operations task to carry out the schools mission and community school model.

Provide mentorship to individual or small groups of students.

Required:

Details:

The starting salary for this position is $42,000, and the exact compensation will align with years of experience

The start date for this position is July 15, 2025

This is an in-person position; typical hours for this position are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 7:15am-3:45pm

Wednesday: 7:15am-4:30pm
