What You'll Get to Do

The Machine Operator 3 is focused on unloading large glass sheets, managing material, and operating a cutting machine and reports to the MANAGER TITLE.

This role is perfect for an individual who has crane experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment  A vital member of the Glass Division, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Safely unload glass from delivery trucks using an overhead crane; inspect and measure glass to match Bill of Lading.
• Open crates, organize stock, and move glass into production.
• Enter received inventory into the system using scanners and perform regular inventory counts.
• Maintain crane safety through inspections and report issues to maintenance.
• Support other departments as needed, including operating a lift truck and cleaning up broken glass.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience operating an overhead crane and understanding of inventory management and cycle counts.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and ability to work independently or with a partner.
• Proficient with computers and familiar with 5S and lean manufacturing (TPS) principles.
• Must follow all PPE and safety protocols.
