Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological Sciences or a relevant health science field. | Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS), American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Current BLS Certification.
Minimum Required: Registry eligible new graduate of a sonography or radiology program. Preferred: 1 year clinical experience as a registered sonographerThe role of the Sonographer is to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic images of various organs and structures of the human body through the use of high frequency sound waves (ultrasound).Ultrasound is an extremely operator dependent imaging modality this position requires and advanced understanding of anatomy an vascular physiology.
