Class A CDL Truck Driver (Transportation)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and distribute finished doors and related products to customers safely and undamaged.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo while adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, perform routine maintenance, and ensure cleanliness of trucks and work areas.
  • Address customer inquiries and report issues to supervisors.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or two (2) years of equivalent work experience.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the ability to safely operate tractor/trailer combinations.
  • Two (2) years of truck driving experience required.
  • Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance with Boise Cascade driver qualifications.
  • Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Flatbed experience preferred.
  • Millwork delivery experience.
  • Knowledge of building products and forklift experience is a plus.
