The primary role of the Senior Financial Analyst is to provide analysis, decision support, and financial expertise to the Marketing Teams.  This role will play an active role in the development of annual plans, monitoring performance against key performance indicators, evaluation of business opportunities, and cost management initiatives.  This person is expected to deliver timely/relevant management reports/insight to key decision-makers, integrating key financial and non-financial performance indicators. 

Essential Duties:

• Provide financial expertise to the Marketing Teams.
• Partner with the Marketing Directors and Managers to create their annual plans and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with the company's short and long-term goals.
• Monitor business unit/functional performance against the established KPIs.
• Drive cost savings by identifying and analyzing brand and sales cost drivers.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic decisions involving marketing projects and assist with brand strategies.
• Interface with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical requirements and provide timely information to support robust decision-making.
• Monitor performance versus the annual budget and rolling quarterly forecast; provide variance analysis and identify opportunities and required corrective actions.
• Ad hoc analysis to support various Brand initiatives.
• Involvement in various special projects supporting Brand and/or the finance process.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis with food and consumer packaged goods companies.
• Possesses strong business acumen.
• Possess a high level of personal and professional integrity.
• Must be able to analyze data and situations,
• Must be able to balance aggressive objectives against short-term operational profit and cash requirements.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$99,000.00 - $165,000.00

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
