A full-time Senior Learning and Development Specialist position in Oklahoma City, OK. Hybrid work schedule, 3 days in office and 2 days remote. Competitive annual salary target of $77-85k and a comprehensive benefits package including:

📌 The Role

The Senior Learning and Development Specialist plays a key role in driving a culture of continuous learning and professional growth at our workers' compensation insurance company. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and evaluating development programs that support employee engagement, leadership readiness, and compliance. As the primary administrator of our Learning Management System (LMS), this individual will ensure training content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with business goals. The role will also contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives including compliance training, mentorship, onboarding, and leadership development.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Manage the LMS (BizLibrary): Oversee training assignments, tracking, and reporting to ensure smooth operation and compliance
  • Coordinate employee development programs: Support mentorship, leadership training, and onboarding extensions (NEO 2)
  • Design and facilitate in-house learning: Lead sessions including 5 Voices and compliance/cybersecurity training, and evaluate program effectiveness

 

👤 Who We're Looking For

A proactive, collaborative learning professional with a learner-first mindset and strong organizational skills. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and brings creativity and confidence to training design and facilitation.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, ideally in a regulated or insurance environment
  • Experience managing LMS platforms (BizLibrary preferred)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Confident communicator and skilled facilitator
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solver with instructional design knowledge
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Familiarity with adult learning theory and evaluation methods
  • Certification or willingness to become certified in the 5 Voices framework
