Your impact as a Clinical Apheresis Coordinator is vital. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by assisting our Montvale, NJ Clinical Apheresis team with Biotherapies patients/donors, (i.e. National Marrow Donor Program, Gife of Life, etc).

Schedule: Days Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

As a Clinical Apheresis Coordinator, you'll get to:
  • Set up and break down donor and patient collection rooms to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment.
  • Perform vital signs monitoring and phlebotomy procedures with precision and care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient and donor records.
  • Demonstrate your strong data entry and billing expertise to support clinical and operational accuracy.
  • Oversee and manage clinical supply inventory to ensure availability and readiness.
  • Conduct quality control checks on equipment to maintain compliance and safety standards.
  • Provide flexible support across functions as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School graduate required.
  • Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant or related education or experience required.
  • Basic CPR certification required.
  • Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent certification preferred.
  • At least one year of recent work experience in a physician's office, blood donation center or direct patient care/clinical setting required.
  • Phlebotomy experience required.
  • Six months experience in a blood center environment preferred.
