Compensation:
- Starting at $21 - $26 per hour, based on experience

Job Description
As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing loan applications, assessing risk, and making informed credit decisions. You will evaluate applicants' financial history, communicate with dealership partners, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining a strong focus on customer service.
What You'll Do:
- Review and assess loan applications from dealerships to evaluate risk and ensure timely decisions.
- Analyze applicant income, credit history, and financial data to make informed approval decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer partners over the phone to support loan volume and close approvals efficiently.
- Bring new ideas to improve underwriting processes and increase loan originations.
- Work proactively to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and dealer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with departments and dealers, using self-motivation to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Handle confidential information securely and ensure accurate data entry.
- Stay self-motivated and goal-oriented in meeting and exceeding individual and team performance targets
Skills, Education, and Experience
- Experience in loan origination or finance (preferred).
- Strong analytical and math skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience analyzing consumer credit preferred.
- Ability to work well within a team and think critically.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bilingual skills are a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Must submit to a background check.
- This role requires onsite presence at our local office
- Schedule: Mon-Fri some Saturdays, 10a-7p
