Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Senior Yield and Scheduling Manager to join the team at Sustainable Beef. In this senior-level role, you will be responsible for optimizing production yields and creating efficient schedules that meet operational demands while minimizing costs. Your expertise will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver high-quality products consistently, on time, and within budget.
This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of yield management and production scheduling in a fast-paced beef processing environment. The ideal candidate will excel in collaboration, problem-solving, systems, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. This role will report to the Corporate Controller.
Key Responsibilities
1. Yield Optimization
Analyze production data to maximize yields and minimize waste, ensuring cost-effective processes.Help reconcile inventory and maintaining proper traceability and controlsImplement strategies to improve product utilization and profitability.Monitor and evaluate yield performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and corrective actions.
2. Scheduling Management
Develop and oversee production schedules to meet demand forecasts while maintaining operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate unforeseen changes in production or supply chain disruptions.
3. Leadership and Collaboration
Provide leadership and guidance to scheduling and yield analysis teams, fostering professional growth and development.Work closely with operations and quality assurance teams to align production goals with quality and safety standards.Communicate yield and scheduling updates effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
4. Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives to streamline scheduling processes and enhance data accuracy for decision-making.Stay current with industry best practices and technological advancements to improve yield and scheduling efficiencies.Promote a culture of innovation and accountability within the team.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered).Minimum of 7 years of experience in yield management, scheduling, or a related role in food production, with beef processing experience preferred.Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.Proficiency in scheduling software and data analysis tools.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
