Senior Sales Contracting Analyst (Project Management)



Job Summary

Our Sales Contracting team is growing as we continue to support healthcare teams nationwide as the largest provider of medical-surgical products and supply chain solutions. This role may lead the drafting of high-visibility contract documents, negotiation of complex commercial terms and conditions, and definition of contract templates, processes, and procedures. This role is expected to mentor other contracting team members and may have opportunity for customer-facing engagement or training leadership opportunities.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Intake contract generation requests from Sales and review for completeness and accuracy.

  • Negotiate various contract types, including distribution and supply agreements, placement agreements, NDAs, and more with customers, sometimes indirectly through Sales.

  • Propose redline revisions to customer contracts, including drafting of bespoke terms and conditions as necessary, including collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, including Legal, as required.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the contracting process and contract execution.

  • Work with Contract Analysts to mentor in and align to contracting best practices and define processes and procedures.

  • Identify process changes to decrease risk and increase efficiency.

  • Generate and maintain SOP documentation.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years related experience in contract drafting, redlining, and negotiation of terms and conditions, preferably customer-facing

  • Bachelor's degree or additional commensurate experience

  • Proven and proficient negotiating skills

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills

  • Interpersonal and relationship management skills

  • Time management skills prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates

  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: making tracked changes, adding developer tab, creating a macro, formatting table style, inserting comments and/or creating a mail merge, document review functionality and document automation capabilities).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).

Preferred Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree

  • At least 3 years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Experience developing and executing contract negotiation strategies

  • Experience defining contracting processes and procedures at an enterprise-level

  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management system usage and continued development

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$85,280.00 - $123,760.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
